The certification programs developed for several years by the various global organizations has not focused the QA/QC Inspection and are limited to auxiliary functions (visual inspection of welding) that disappoint the actual needs of the owners. In this fact the existing Inspection certification programs, give a poor skills level compared to the real inspection activities need.

IWC International Welding Center has developed a training and certification program that combines most of the skills needed to improve the relevance of QA/QC Inspection activity and the efficient resolution of quality problems arising from the activity. In this fact, the holder of IWC-IWI certificate will represent an asset for its employer by ignoring the integration time and the supplementary training. In addition, IWC-IWI is capable to perform the function of purchasing inspector, welding inspector, dimensional inspector, NDE coordinator, welding supervisor, quality assurance and control inspector … that will minimize the cost of inspection and assure the coherence and globality of inspection activities.

With IWC-IWI, the employer will benefit of high skilled person able to control the most recognized standards, detect and distinguish the critical defects before and after manufacturing, analyze and propose solutions for any failure and develop a good brand mark toward the client by its behaviors and communications.

The IWC- IWI International Welding Inspector program was developed to give candidate high performance regarding their added values in the three major phases of construction; study, realization and exploitation. Indeed the program is developed to combines safety, welding, inspection, metal, metallurgy, NDE and destructive examination with existing code, standards and specification, inspection project management, welding management system and failure expertise in current facility by inspection practice of the major industry equipment.

Furthermore and contrariwise of existing programs IWC-IWI program give the candidate the ability to prepare and review all necessary quality documents and records such as quality manual, quality plan, inspection and test plan, Inspection procedure and Inspection record and form.

IWI certification contains three level:

  • International Welding Inspector. IWI Level 1
  • International Senior Welding Inspector. IWI Level 2
  • International Welding Inspection Expert. IWI Level 3
